BackAs on a decade counter expects CLOCK to pass 1/2 of V+ (i.e. 6v) but many people have made it clear that any problems introduced by others will not (i) exercise any of the bad trace. Single-step button (SW13) isn't producing a high enough voltage to trigger a second sequencer's run, which then re-triggers the first. More feature ideas: Trigger out - Gate out, with probably +12v gates. Variable step count, 1-10 steps.
