BackClose Testing before powering up: Clock In Normal - 1k to U2-8 (AND NOT short to U2-10 Clock Rate - variable resist +6k between U2-8 and U2-9 Reset Sw - when pressed, short +12V and the following procedure for assembly. As usual do the lowest components first — resistors and diodes — then sockets, ceramic capacitors, power header, transistors, film caps, electrolytic caps... Something like that. Consider: 1 simple on/off switch/button/knob/etc. PSU \+12V, -12V and ground needed, probably up to 1amp
