Presumably the CV in to pause the clock oscillilator an external CV-to-pulse-rate module? Is this even useful? Seven-segment display. Can be done, but requires a lot of controls for this. Our decision will be similar in spirit to the following procedure for assembly. As usual do the lowest components first — resistors and diodes — then sockets, ceramic capacitors, power header, transistors, film caps, electrolytic caps... Something like that.
